I am visiting Sydney next week without a car and staying the the suburbs.
I wanted to make a trip into the City, Parramatta and the Homebush DFO.
I have never used the apps before.
Can anyone recommend the best one for Sydney?

Getting to DFO by public transport is a pain though
How?? The buses go all the time.
I've actually never gone there by public transport. But depending on where he's staying in the suburbs, it still might be painful; for example, where I am in south-west Sydney, if I went to DFO today at 10 a.m. it's 26 minutes by car with tolls, 32 minutes without tolls, and 72 minutes by public transport …
@kerfuffle: ah okay that makes sense
@Savas: Now the OP has said he's in Ingleburn, it's even longer for them - if they left Ingleburn Station at 10 a.m., it's 43 minutes with tolls, 51 minutes without tolls, and at least 90 minutes by public transport
Just rent a car
Ah! There we go. Someone got it.
LOL!

Depends on what you mean by "best". Uber is the most reliable but others may be cheaper, particularly during surge pricing or if they have a promo running.
So… you asked about apps in the automotive section and about actual cars in the travel forum??
Which suburbs? Homebush DFO is the only place that's a bit of an extra trek by public transport. Thanks to Opal's mode-of-transport discount it's not as crazy expensive as it used to be for me to do bus-train-bus x 2.
It is sorta walking distance from north strathfield station. Would be a pain to walk back to station if you're carrying lotsa shopping though.
I am staying in ingleburn
Get an Opal card and catch the train.
