Tempered glass does shatter. Sure, it breaks itself into a million small pieces, but how is that an assurance to parents?? 😰

That's pretty cheap. You can usually calibrate these ones from the bottom if they're out of whack.
Just stick to the machine if you are weighing yourself everyday, morning also. Don't go weighing different hours on different days.
Or digital without the extra cost — financial and environmental! — of using batteries for just $10 more @ DickSmith 😮
