Qantas brings back First Class seats to HKG

The past month me and my partner have accumulated nearly 400k bonus QFF points from credit card sign ups thanks to Ozb posts. We just booked our first ever first class tickets from SYD to HKG return for 360k pts and about $800 in fees

These seats are limited from 1 December 2018 through to 28 March 2019 and were recently released. Get in quick to book these flights!

    Go into first class training. Go to the lounge for a few hours before you leave. Study the wine and champagne list carefully. I once diluted myself on Singapore slings when I could have been drinking pure Dom Perignon. Rookie mistake.

    Qantas first class is pretty crap compared to other airlines like Emirates, Singapore, Cathay, Etihad, Qatar.

    The flight to HK only takes like 9 hours. It's not worth using your points for a first class ticket because it's a fairly quick daytime flight and Qantas flight attendants are super talkative on this route. I went on Premium Economy to HK recently and was pretty happy because time flies! HK is only 2 hours behind so getting use to the time difference is pretty easy. I also found myself out of my seat for most of the flight, so I didn't use the in-flight entertainment at all.

    I would fly first class to places like Europe or the US where the time difference is large. It's also nice sleeping in first class.

      Would never pay for premium economy to HK, what's the point

        Because it's cheap and the night time return flights are extremely uncomfortable in economy. I also don't pay for it. Company does.
