Umart Vs PC Case Gear Vs Scorptec - Post Sales Service

Hi

So I'm going to be buying a razer blade 15 soon and am tossing up with which store to purchase from.

All stores are selling at the same price but I have heard that razer can often have poor quality control so which of these have the best post sales service (ie warranty)

I have only dealt with PC Case gear in the past and have had to return a faulty HDD and a faulty GPU and they have replaced it or given store credit no questions asked.

Does anyone have experience with any of the other two stores

    I normally deal with umart because they're cheap and better (and closer to me) than MSY, but their after sales service can be a bit tough (there are worse). I'm fairly certain that PCCG would be better though.

    Razer actually has great build quality, you usually pay a "gaming" brand premium for their products but the durability is worth it.

    PCCG likely to give you the least headaches for a potential RMA.

    Have used all of those guys from time to time. Umart has been my go to shop for around 15 years or so, had to RMA a few things over the years and it's never been a problem. Sometimes had to wait a couple of weeks depending on what the RMA was but any DOA products were always swapped out immediately.

    My first build was through Umart in 09 how ever never needed to return back to them, after that my build compromised of parts from where ever was cheapest.

    But from what i hear from the joes down south is PCCG is fair good with assisting with issues.

    Had experience in the past with Umart and Scorptec and all good, both replaced. As I live close to an Umart store I would go there for sure to avoid returning post cost.

    I need to replace my fried gtx 970 so i was looking at Umart since they are the cheapest by a mile.

    I've only dealt with PCCG in the past but the cars there are $50-60 more it seems:

      I would normally pay a premium of $20-$30 for PCCG but even $50 a bit too much for me

    been buying off umart since they first opened and have never had an issue with post sale service.

    fingers crossed though i just put in an order just under 4k yesterday

    Depends where you live. The MSY stores I've been to have been great with warranty claims. Usually they just take the old item, don't even look at it and give me a replacement. I even returned a $550 monitor and they replaced it without opening the box. Umart on the other hand around here at least will always run me through the full process and make me go away and wait for a replacement. They are sticklers for the paperwork and using the system.

    I actually bought my last system components from Computer Alliance. Sales wise, they seem pretty good. Not sure about after-sale yet.
