what airline is the one you found?
I've never flown Philipine Airlines, but they're ranked quite low.
Phillipine airlines, this same deal. I only mentioned because they didn't include November in their sample dates.
Flights to Tokyo were also about the same price if anyone is interested.
Airplane is good. The terminal where it stops over is horrendous. If stopping over, try to minimise the stopover time or figure out how to get out for a few hours (we weren't allowed to go out during a 6 hour stopover).
I flew from HKG to MNL, MNL to MEL on Friday. Nice planes. Good movies to watch. I was early to Hong Kong and they said I should change to the earlier plane that day (2 flights to MNL that afternoon) because its better for me. I found out why.
Just have a look. The planes are always late. On the way to Melbourne we got told we were about to go. A full movie finished later, we finally took off.
Airport is a mess. Plane Food yuk. Beer, nice. Chicken sandwich, nice. Plane, nice.
Yikes, shame about the lateness. I don't even mind waiting as long as I wouldn't miss connecting flights, that's my worry. The flights I was looking at had 3 hours between each stopover which -should- be adequate but it makes me nervous.
The next one will be late, so it will be ok.
Looking for early October. Any chances?

Found good prices from Melb to Osaka in November too in case anyone is looking.
Anyone flown with Philippine airlines before and can share your experience? I haven't really heard anything about them.
