Price looks good. Shipping kills it for me. I'll go nuts smashing 10 kgs, unless I give them away.

    Hi OP,
What's a "qualified order for free shipping"? Couldn't find it on your website
    I'm in Adelaide metro

    • Hi MishyMoo, we offer free shipping to Adelaide metro on orders over $199. More info on our shipping rates here https://www.nutgrocer.com.au/shipping/

      • +1

ouch! any chance you guys can hook up with Shipster/Ebay Plus/Amazon prime to get cheaper free?

I suspect your target audience is business, not individuals on OzB

      • +3

Free shipping over $199 is bit steep,go nuts and show some ozbargain love :)

        • +3

          show some ozbargain love

          Show some nuts.

Seeing you're in VIC and only offer free shipping to your own state with orders over even $99 is still ridiculously expensive. Agree with the above comments, hook up with a better shipping agent and give us some more love because those rates are silly. Us poor West Aussies cant even order enough from you that you even consider us for free shipping whatsoever.

Thanks. Free shipping qualufication is too high for me

How much do you have to get too to be a qualified order?

OP did not publish shipping details as usual..

Hi OP, Thanks for posting deal.

Found your 'Contact Us' link at website - listing the location:
    112 Lewis Rd
    Wantirna South
    VIC 3152

Will I be able to order, and pickup from location to avoid the shipping charges?
    Many thanks in advance.

They have a store there, so you can just walk in and buy. Not sure if the prices are the same though..

      • Thanks ryang.

OP, can you please provide info whether this deal is only for online purchases?
Or applies to walk-in purchases at store as well? Thanks.

        • Hi bluesky, unfortunately pick-ups / walk-in purchases are not available as there's no public access/physical store at our warehouse.

        • +1

          @nutgrocer: Thanks for clarifying.

        • @nutgrocer: Wait. What.

Oh damn, I thought you were https://www.trutaste.com.au/ …. But apparently you are literally right next door.

          @bluesky:
          G'day Madame Blue,
Site requiring a log-in order to retain subscriptions - appears beyond keen for fewer emails to be sent out. Efficient, relatable.

Just thought I would say Hi. I hope all things good or at least reasonable in your world. You being thwarted by a non-pickup puddle, aside…
          :-)

Maybe a whispered code at side-door option for OzBargainers, from this OP, in future..
Take care and don't go hungry, bluesky!

        • +1

@Dne: G'day Tas, Haha, pic reminiscent of acorn-obsessed Scrat, one of my fav char. Well, nut craving not thwarted, just improvised, through this deal. For almonds and hazelnuts (the choc is bonus). Really quite good, actually!

        • +1

@bluesky: Pictured you less as Beatrix Potter's Squirrel Nutkin, or Ice Age's Scrat, and more as Wrangler Jane holding the OzBargain AmEx Statement Credit, Fort, bluesky.
(One of my earliest childhood memories is of watching black & white reruns with my Dad, of a show called F Troop. Made me smile, remembering that. :)

Beyond deals-only viewed as four-fifths, non-members, or thereabouts, see them, ill-advised. Was just trigg-ered by forum thread to think about Kim Kardashian, or more specifically, her voice, and that's unfortunate.

Aldi chocolaty stuff always pretty decent. I won't subject you to any inquiry into just how many almond and hazlenut blocks you may hoarding, up in a tree…

          :-)

        • +1

@Dne: I squirreled quite a few nut blocks away, Aldi choc stuff indeed good … in the process discovered Aldi Liviano Milk Choc Bars (Hazelnut/Rich Choc) which won an award in Product of the Year 2018.

(I remember F Troop too, pretty funny :-))

  • do you offer free pick up

  • +1

    its a no from me.

  • Where a ree they come from?

  • Roasted cashews $20/kg currently at Coles, $4 delivery. Here $15.70 + $12.50 delivery (Syd/Adl) or $9 (Melb) and higher for other states and non Metro.

Raw cashews also at Coles for $20/kg.

    • So buy 4kgs and they'll be cheaper :)

      • I can't even buy 1kg of cashews without putting on 4kg.

        • That's not how biology works.

        • Maybe if you sell 1 kg of cashews you will lose 4 kg. Hey a new weight loss method. ;)

  • this is pretty nuts

  • Can anybody please shed light on how these compare against Costco and Aldi in terms of price and quality?

  • Is pick up available from your warehouse?

  • Kudos for the slick and responsive (mobile) website. It's not often I enjoy a shopping cart experience.

  • What are some sample best before dates?
