Something casual, don't mind $$$ as long as it is uber comfort.
Narrowed it down to two:

One thing I would suggest is not cheaping out on a good pair of shoes that suits your feet/walking style.
Nike Odyssey React
Sketchers
Second that, my Skechers are the best shoes I ever bought in my life. I love 'em. So comfortable.
Adidas Ultra Boost
The one that fits you the best - try on some and see what feels good. There is no correct answer
For example, Kayano is a heavy motion control shoe designed to correct overpronation.
Personally I prefer a light flexible shoe with very little support so that that my foot can move as nature intended.

I totally agree on this.
I've been asking around and searching for a comfy walking shoe a while back, but best approach (similar to what slow said):

No idea but I prefer slipons over anything else. Currently using some rivers ones I think I picked up for $30? Maybe more I honestly can't remember as it was a present from my grandfather.
From deals posted on OzBargain, it's either the Kayano or Ultra Boost. Personally I wear my retired running shoes (after >1,000km) as walking sneakers.
Depends on your feet, arches, pronation etc.
Everyone has different feet shapes so you should always go in store and try the shoes on to see how they feel on your feet.
