LG Vs Dyson Vs Kmart Vacuum Recommendations

Looking at buying a new vacuum, current one is on its way out. so time for me to start lookin!

i have seen some of the dyson specials around, and im trying to compare to the LG A9Multi2x / kmart cordless.

I have managed to find the LG A9MULTI2X through JBHIFI, getting a discount down to $545.12(i can get it through my work at staff prices)

any pros/cons to each?

I have 2 dogs and a cat, and a young child, so getting rid of that pet hair is a plus..

kmart for $99 is a good price, but not sure if i can justify the high prices for the dyson/LG.

any input appreciated.

    For the same price you can pick up a sauber advance for $499 or a Hoover air stick pro for $599 (top dollar, but use your inner ozbargainer and get more off).

    Both machines have a power head as opposed to a turbo head on the LG.

    How much carpet do you have? As this will also determine which is best for you

      Only carpet in 3 bedrooms, rest is laminate flooring. Some random rugs.

      I know the LG has a hard floor attachment.

      Will check those out, see what they like.

          That's good !

          A stick vac should never replace a powered head vacuum cleaner full time…

          @Slinky0111: ended up buying the LG cordzero today, only a smallish house so it has worked amazing for us so far!

          Works much better than our old normal vacuum, picked up more dirt and stuff from the rug. Wish I knew why the dogs always get so dirty and dusty when we go out all the time..

          See how it goes for us, but we have our old one as backup if needed.

    What about a Miele c3 (cat and dog)?
