That is not the premium. It is bit sticky and does not taste same and bit yellow as well.
The product you are mentioning is sold for close to $9.79 by costco. This one is Premium rice not exotic. Not all Basmati are same. Try some day India Gate Classic.

Soak your rice for a couple of hours & drain off the water prior to cooking, as it will remove a good % of impurities (inc. arsenic)

Any Indian grocery shop near you has better prices and variety in rice. Especially on this India Gate Basmati. This is very popular rice brand.
Got any examples of prices? You can post it up as a deal.
Every one I've been to is more expensive for India Gate than Costco. You don't happen to own one of these stores do you?

I am regular to Indian shops never found one in last 2 years that sells India Gate Premium 20KG for this price. Not even Katoomba which is the only Importer for this brand.
Basmati Riviana brand is on special this week at Woolworths, $9.5 for 5kg.
You are comparing two very different qualities. Riviana is cheaper quality basmati, this one if 2nd from the top quality (top one if India Gate Classic).
Costco Casula (NSW) has the same price. Having been to several Indian shops, this is the best price I have found.

India Gate Basmati Exotic $12 for 5kg bag at Woolies. 4 x bags of this would be cheaper than the Costco deal.
