I caught about 20 Jetstar flights this year alone, and none were cancelled. A couple delayed a little and that’s about it. They’re not that bad.

You must be very strong
You obviously don't live on the west coast 😉
from $125 one way.
Will their immigration let you in with a one way ticket?
Travelling on an Australian passport, Jetstar will not let you board unless you have a ticket out of Indonesia within 60 days of arrival.
Their reasoning is that you can buy a 30 day VOA in Bali for $US35, extendable for another 30 days for another $US35.
Most Australians take the Free 30 Day Visa Exemption which is not extendable.
So why advertise a one way fare if you can’t use it?
You might be going to live there?
Only if it's a bargain.
1) it sounds cheaper - yay marketing
2) I bought a one way ticket to Japan last month. Reason is I then bought another ticket from there to Europe. One way tickets often work out well - you can get a one way on Jetstar and come back on say Qantas or Scoot or whoever else if that works better. It's often worth looking for two one way tickets instead of a return.
But yeah, most airlines won't let you board if you can't prove you're leaving the country they're flying you to in a timely manner. In the US/Canada, many just buy a cheap Greyhound ticket across the border as 'evidence' if need be.
It’s less coming back, I’m getting $205 rt in feb.
Good find, added into title
One way ticket to Bali, I think airport baggage handlers have handed out a few of those.
Bogan delite
Bali isn't just for bogans. Kuta is.
Fair point. I'd still travel rest of world first before hitting up Bali at 65 years old
Cheaper than going to Broome, still not competitive enough to go locally :(
October? Plenty of time for at least 6 different flight time changes before then. No thanks shit star ;)
