After the Qantas/Swiss sales, it was inevitable Virgin would try and compete, and voila, we have flights for under a grand to Scandinavia. Even better, it's operated by Singapore Airlines (Skytrax airline of the year again)
I've found dates in May next year.
Virgin Australia/Singapore.
Stopover in Singapore.

I'm confused as I didn't think Virgin code shared with Singapore? I thought they were just partners? Edit: low and behold they do!
Can you also get the double velocity points offer that is on right now with this or is that only through Virgin rather than a travel agent?
Edit: this seems to be a very limited deal in that it's only Copenhagen and only in a very specific time period. I could find prices anywhere near that but Copenhagen does always seem to be cheaper so a good tip there.
