IMAN is a subsidiary of NIB. Is it same as well? I was looking for basic health cover.
…and I might be wrong , but the last time I checked with qantas health insurance ,
it turned out to be NIB based
( and higher premiums than what I am paying for now , with lesser extras offered )
I don't think they updated it to a better more fairer product and price ,
especially since it's pimped out by Qanta$
( before taking out any insurance ALWAYS read the fine print ,
if you do not understand it ,
call the health fund and ask questions !)
PLEASE anyone contemplating moving to this fund have a read of all the comments myself and others have posted about them in previous deals that have been posted.
The $200 you will get will be completely and utterly be lost the moment you see how big the out of pocket costs can be with this health fund. They are the only fund in Australia that does not support the “Known Gap” rebate scheme so you will be out of pocket FARRRR more than with any other health fund.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
