    There are people who happen to collect lego, such as myself. There's a huge AFOL (Adult Fan Of Lego) community that do so for the aesthetic, nostalgic or frankly, geeky qualities.

    Don't EVER order from fishpond. They took 3 weeks to get a book to me! And they are based in Australia as well. It is also impossible to contact their customer service since they don't have a contact number.

COTD is fine, it just takes some time to ship it out to you. Apart from shipping delays, I've never really had a problem with COTD, can't speak for FishPond.

Fishpond are ridiculous. I have ordered from them at least 3 times and 3 times I have had my order canceled, with an "Out of Stock". This was after they changed the prices back from the sale price. I have also had to wait weeks to be told this. They have forever lost my business.

COTD on the other hand have come through every time. Sometimes the stuff they sell really is junk, but you get what you pay for. eg a $5 mini USB vacuum cleaner…c'mon did I really expect Dyson quality? :P

Great price on this set, though the ZING code wasn't working for me either.

I emailed QQQ, let's just see if I can get the store credit or refund. $80 (inc postage) was about the highest I'd have gone on this one.

Mods were SO fast in changing the link and title to Fishpond, but in reverse have not done anything.

There were about 120 redemptions of the coupon code, but only 17 +votes, and we are still left with a post going to fishpond…

    I emailed them, they said there was a "delay at the distribution centre". Not sure I believe that, as the payment status was in the waiting for payment stage for a good 4 days after the money disappeared from my account.
    
    More likely just horrible admin processes and understaffing.

received item from Catch of the day. Missing 111 pieces.
Contacted CATCHOFTHEDAY spoke to Bryan about my faulty product. they told me to go to lego and ask for the missing pieces of lego.. So I did and have to wait for lego now.

Why cant CATCHOFTHEDAY just give me a refund and they handle their own product fault problems. Instead of push it onto the consumer.

took me 3 hrs to count the missing lego and what a night mare.

I hope no one else has to go through this ordeal like me counting missing lego if they buy lego

FInally I can get a responce from Catchoftheday took a while though.
anyway I already contacted LEGO on the day of my last post and they said they will send me out all the missing pieces directly from Denmark and it should take 10 working days.
