  • Not sure a wifi siren that just plugs into a power point is probably the most fool proof alarm system around.. The robber just needs to pull it out of the outlet to stop it.

    • If they shutdown the power, most systems won't work. This kind of system is very much for daily use…….

      • UPS?

  • An alternative to Xiaomi?

Nice way to wake up the kids.

Nice find. D-link stuff works with IFTTT, which opens up some smart home possibilities. I'm planning to use the siren it as an external alarm and linking it to my existing Arlo Pro setup.

    • Does it integrate with arlo pro? Or ur talkin bout 2 standalone systems in parallel

      • You have to use a third party system to link the two - I've read that you can do it through IFTTT and Samsung Smartthings.

        • Not sure about Arlo, our IFTT will turn on a smart plug (TPLink) if the Dlink sensor is 'activated'..

    • So it won't trigger if your internet is down?

  • well, better than nothing!

  • I bought the siren for $15 at office works a few months ago.
