Not if you use Nespresso and drop them off for recycling.
L'oR Columbian single origin are the best out there ATM. Recycle the pods too as they are made of aluminum
The Lavazza pods are also fantastic, but the L'oR Columbian wins for me….and commonly on special at woolworths for $4 10 pack so $0.40c per coffee gross cost…..cheap as chups!
+1 for Lavazza and L’Or comes in second for me.
Nespresso produces the best capsule and they are completely recyclable.
Nespresso or L'or (cheaper but still good, and work in Nespresso machines)
I get L'or go on sale $4 for 10 frequently
Vittoria organics, otherwise still Nespresso but it's a bit hard to get to the store and as a true ozbargainer I do not pay for postage. (I can drink another 10 Vittoria coffes instead)
Buy an Aeropress ($35), buy beans (can get the place to grind them) would give you a better flavour…
I've tried aeropress, I find it is just an upgrade to plunger coffee. Can't really add milk cause it is watery unlike coffee pods which give you really concentrated coffee like an espresso shot.
I've tried a fair few pods now and in my opinion, nothing compares to the taste of Nespresso…
Really impressed with Dolce gusto, tried it on holiday as it was in my hotel room
We bought a Saeco Map Bavista Coffee Machine on a bargain here nearly 2 years ago… machine is still going strong..we have tried heaps of different brand pods and always seem to end up back on Woolworths Red (strong)…fine for us but nothing like Melbourne Cafe coffee;(
L'or on price v taste otherwise Nespresso but even they have dropped in quality over last decade
I would recommend for you to not use a pod machine, and take one step up, and get a Bean to Cup machines, still low maintenance, quick brew and offers better taste than pod.
The delonghi magnifica series is a good entry level. tbh You wont look back.
Send me your taste buds and I shall do the comparison you need.
Everyone gotta check out UrbanBrew.co for pods, they make it for 3 different coffee systems.
35cents to 70cents per pod, cheaper when you buy more. Free shipping!
Roasted and packed in South Australia. Biodegradable pods, less worries for the environment.
I actually saw them on an Ad on instagram, decided to take a risk and gave them a try. Managed to convince the office (work) to subscribe monthly as we are all coffee monsters (going through at least 10pods/day)

Nespresso.
Lavazza.
but still better to get real bans.
even if it's a fully automated machine.
