Ty.
Yep, as i thought. Unless i want to ve doing deep queue activities, ill take the faster lab results for random read and sustained write. That said, this kingston did bloody well for an entry level drive i must say!
8 of them in a raid 0 for $250 and off you go
I think even though these are cheap, you're going to have a hard time shifting them if the 256Gb ssds are around $50.
Double the space for $20 or so is worth it just for the hassle of not needing to worry about hdd space that much.
Can anyone suggest which software to use to clone the OS like samsung and curcial SSD?
I downloaded Acronis OEM software for Kingston but after entered the 16 charaters serial number on the SSD it said invaild.
below
Tired this but it need upgrade for OS clone
Google for ghost32.exe or acronisboot.iso
Both/either are used to make a bootable cd which will do what you need.
Ill just simply assume you own the full program…. Achem.
But in case you dont, I wont link anything, as that would be warez.
Thanks will give it a try now
Will this work on XP? Tried on XP seem cant reconigise the SSD. Thanks
Read the system requirements.
Yeah, happy I bought 25 in the PC byte deal haha - and I was even expecting plastic case, but no it was metal, so I was pleasantly surprised.
what ???? how did you get 25 ?
All in the same transaction - no issues. Shipping would have supposedly been $379.95 lol
Gotta try and find the Sandisk brands if you can.
Even though like all cheap SSD's the slow down with mass transfer; at least their own controller means their random access\write is much better.
