Best Way to Collect Qantas Points?

Hi all.

It might be a dumb question, but what’s the best way to collect Qantas points? I have Velocity and Skywards and wanted to register for QF, but it has high annual fee. Is there any ways to avoid it?

  There is no annual fee for being a Qantas frequent flyer member.

  Qantas points are difficult and expensive to redeem. Sign up for an amex card using the referrals here and you will have a range of much better airline options than Qantas.

  We take up credit card deals where possible, since July last year signed up for Qantas Ultimate Amex cards, received 100K QFF points each and did 9 referrals at $30K each so 470K in all, so we are off to Canada and New York next week in J (Bus Class) using points.
