Yeah they changed from Cherry MX keys to their own keys. Cherry's patent expired so every Cherry ripoff is basically the same or better nowadays. Writing this from the Cherry MX version of the keyboard and the build quality is excellent. However you have to watch out with the software. I got my black widow for free so I'm not too worried but I've heard similar stories from other people with the same keyboard that this model has problems with the synapse program. An issue as serious as that should have been fixed by now though and the build quality is of course awesome so I say buy away Oz Bargainers.
This is actually a pretty good price. Not quite the $168 EB is trying to sell it for (can be had for far cheaper elsewhere), but $73.20 is pretty good!

I am logged in to my eBay Plus account, price in checkout shows as AU $97.60 and the button to enter code PROXY is disabled. First post, forgive me if I am missing something obvious.
Have you made any purchases already using PROXY?
No purchases made using PROXY so far. This has me stumped, I disabled UBlock and Ghostery, made no difference.
OK I was able to redeem the code using the eBay app on my phone.
My Corsair K70 just died a week ago, so this is perfect timing. Would like to get some more peoples opinions/experiences with this keyboard first though.
What issue does the k70 have? I just purchased one
Yeah mine getting flakey as well. The 'S' key keeps ghosting, though I sprayed some contact cleaner in it yesterday and doesn't seem too bad today. Otherwise was on the lookout for a new KB.
Have used the K95 a decent amount. Build quality is basically the same as the Blackwidow. The price premium goes to the rgb lights and all that nice metal trim. Personally I prefer the Corsair even with the price taken into consideration. However, the blackwidow has been running for me without any failures of the basic features or lighting since 2013.
