Vodafone RACQ Deal

Hi Guys

I'm a RACQ member
Planning (READ: Risking) to get 2 vodafone plans, 1 for myself and 1 for my wife

Wondering if Vodafone will verify if she is really a RACQ member
Or Can I buy her plan under my name (she is not working now)

I checked the website - seems any non RACQ (or NRMA) members can get the advantage via http://store.vodafone.com.au/SYCS/Default.aspx?company=amsr

Any suggestion would be appreciated

I recently got a 16GB iphone 4 with this deal by calling their call centre, the only time they verified I was an NRMA member was when I signed up, and they just asked for my member number. They haven't enquired further in the 2 months since.

Buy through the online store - They never even request a member number.

Just add the additional mobile plan under your account. You can do this with 3 Mobile at least.

Yes it is more of an issue on Vodafone's part, where verification of RACQ/NRMA or other motor club membership number is not required. They do prefer those links aren't publicised though (got an email from a Vodafone rep before), but then what do you expect when it's on the Internet?

Dunno if it's worth waiting but a voda friend told me a 3 month off + 10% deal would be coming soon. Plus no good phones out anyways.
