Re Grey import and only US warranty item is sold in Australia by Amazon Au so consumer laws apply here. Not sure how WD Aust handle warranty which is 5 years. If SSD fails would expect consumer protections apply especially given WD offers a five year warranty. Have not checked international warranty coverage by WD though. Amazon Au through clearly are the retailer. They say "Manufacturer warranty may not apply but you may have other rights under law."
Given the 5 year warranty in the US it would be likely the retailer would be obliged to fix failures within the warranty period( as 5 years warranty implies goods are guaranteed by maker to last at least 5 years) 500 Gig has 300 TB endurance rating.
This doesn't even seem to need a Prime membership. I just added it to the cart and i don't have Prime. This deal is for every body. The title needs to be fixed.
