How often do sales repeat?

I was wondering how frequently big chain stores such as Target, Big W, K Mart, etc repeat their sales.

For example BigW is having a "Baby to Toddler" at the moment, when would you expect their next "Baby to Toddler" type sale would be?

    About 6-12 months I guess. Some items may be longer though, it's hard to say.
