I thought about the Bose QC30 to replace my Bose QC20i, but held off because there's no convenient way to connect to the inflight entertainment on a plane with the newer QC30, which is where I'll be using these earphones the most. Then saw the Sony WI-1000X. Sony generally has a better sound, but slightly lesser noise-cancelling. However, the Sony earphones have line-in which lets you easily use it with the inflight entertainment on a plane.

Just purchased 2, and with TRS, they'll come to around $230 each.

  Slightly more but JB Hi-Fi has them for $269.40 today for those that might prefer that. They’ve got most Sony headphones @ 40% off. Got my wife some WF-SP700N for $179

    but if you're travelling overseas, the eBay offer is a no-brainer. The Tax Invoice with ABN has the price at $349, even if you only paid $261, which means you can claim $31 on TRS.

      Agree you get more on TRS with ebay. With JB you need to purchase extra to make the $300 for TRS.

  Ah they're wireless, I suppose you'd need a bluetooth transmitter.

  I was interested in these too at first but was like I already got a sony 1000xm2 and an lg tone platinum… so let's try something new and get those wearable neck speaker lol.
