  • Released August 9

  • A whole $10 USD cheaper than Steam, good find!

  • +3

I did see this which is awesome but if you were hunting the absolute cheapest then cdkeys.com is coming in at $46.89USD (https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/monster-hunter-world-pc-stea…).

I've never heard nor have purchased from this website though so I'd go with GMG but for those that are willing, save another ~3USD.

    • +3

I've used the website couple times. Can confirm it's legit and quick.

    • +1

someone else already replied, but figure i'd add in too.
Have bought multiple things from cdkeys, always been quick and easy

    • +1

Cdkeys is legit and you can get another 5% off from liking their FB page.

      • I've never used cdkeys. I think I've avoided them due to others' feedback here on OzB… I'm sure I've read comments that have thrown shades at the legitimacy of their keys?

        • I don't remember reading comments like that but personally me and a number of others I know irl and from online forums haven't had any issues in the past purchasing.

    • +1

I've purchased a couple games from them a few times, all have been received instantly. Their website looks a little dodgy but from my personal experience I trust them.

    • +1

+1 as Ozb'er with no issues from CDKeys.
      Always been quick.

Also customer service is great too, purchased BoTW DLC in error and they refunded me staight away.

    • But the link shows Europe Region? Or it doesn't matter since you redeem it on steam?

  • +3

Bought it yesterday for $33.25 AUD from GMG Philippine. VPN required.

    • Hey man, mind telling us how?

      • +4

Using Express VPN App (free for 7 days, select Philippine server), open GMG website, create a new account with Philippine address ( google it ), the game price is 1501.59 Philippine Peso≈ $33.3AUD. Purchase the game by Credit card or Paypal.

        • You did this on phone?

        • @OzBMate629:

Yes you do it on your phone

        • @faye: how did you get the game to check out mate? Whenever I click on it using the Phillipines server it says it isn’t available in the region? Cheers

        • @Pulseless: I managed to get it yesterday. But seems Philippine store is sold out now. Try Malaysia store, using a Malaysia VPN

        • Got to be careful though, Steam has a section in the toc about using VPN to buy games at a cheaper price.

"You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, Valve may terminate your access to your Account."

        • @Craziie:

That's only for buying it from Steam, they don't care where you get keys from.

    • How did you do it?

    • Yeah dude can you let us know how it works? And if it worked?

    • Which vpn are you using to get to the Philippines?

      • Same question here, I have 2 VPNs but they are not connect to Philippine.

      • +1

        Express VPN

    • After I got the code, can I send it to my main account as a gift??

    • Saying it isn't available in the region.

      • Was just about to buy it through this method as well but it says it isn't available in the region..

        • What's it saying/showing for you? I'm seeing the game in Philippine peso's

        • @Pulseless: I see it in store, but when I select it says it isn't available in the region.

        • @Pulseless: When I open GMG website with a Philippines VPN connection, I see the prices in peso's on the front page and when I tap on Monster Hunter World, it says "We're sorry, but this game is not available in your region."

        • @neosushi: try the Thai vpn server instead

        • @FunbagsOfSatan: okay yeah it’s doing the same thing for me as well. Thai server doesn’t work.

        • @Pulseless: weird. Admittedly, I just loaded up the page and it has add to cart and all with Thai server. They may be very good at closing the loop holes very quickly with bot programs. I'm not sure the key will be for all regions any way? Anyone know?

Can I use a Proxy/VPN to purchase a game from your store?
No, we do not allow the use of Proxy/VPN servers on our site, If you manage to buy a game using this method the likelihood is, the key you receive will not activate in your region and a refund will not be offered on this purchase. This is also mentioned in our terms and conditions.

        • @FunbagsOfSatan: Philippine store is sold out at the moment. Malaysia store is still working, but price is a bit higher. It is global key, so dont worry about activaton.

        • @faye:

It seems they have removed PayPal payment option now.

      • Its in stock in GMG Philippine again now.
It seems it is the one of a few region that can use paypal.

And make sure your email address is same on PayPal and greenmangaming account, otherwise it will reject the payment.

  • I've never pre-ordered a game before… and don't think I ever will…

But, damn, I've been avoiding this on PS4 waiting for the PC version, and just want it now.

    Must resist!

    • Can confirm, this game is excellent on PS4. Have no fear.

  • Anyone got a spare GMG code in their email for this? Cheers - pm me if you do!

  • I pre-ordered the gold edition of assassin's Creed Odyssey on thevPhilippines GMG site as it was $90 AUD and not $150 AUD like everywhere else. But after reading some Reddit posts sounds like I'll need to use a Phillipines vpn to activate the game on Uplay and possibly use a VPN whilst playing the game. Sounds really annoying. I've cancelled my pre-order. Hope monster hunter world isn't the same level of annoyance and isn't region locked
