  • This is on page 5 of the catalog.

  • Cheap, but they're kidding if they claim these are usually $5-6.

    • why, how much are they?

      • You would be suprised how expensive they are, i was at the hardware store and they had a yates rack with them ranging from $3-$6. Had a quick look online and you would be paying at least $3.50 from say diggersclub for the cheaper ones.

        • D.T Brown seeds have always been at the budget end of the seed market and are usually sold through $2/discount stores. There is no way they would ever sell for $5-6 a packet.

Last time i got some Yates seeds late last year they were $1.50 from my supermarket. That was the regular price.

        • Yates seeds are exxy, but you can go into any kmart and get this type of seeds for under $2. Or a lot of other stores too.

Not sure what these normally go for but Sams Warehouse had them 3 for $2 about a month ago.

    • Might have to check them out, thanks.

      • Actually looking at their website catalogues (sams warehouse) they have a catalogue for chickenfeed…… same company???

        • I think Crazy Clarks is the same company also.

        • Sam's Warehouse, Go-Lo, Crazy Clark's and Chickenfeed are all the same company (operating in different areas).

I thought I had a reciept from when I bought some of these seeds a few months ago, but I cannot find it. I am 99% sure that the standard Chickenfeed price is 1.89$ for the green packets. So save about 15%.

  • I grew some basil this year. Then a snail came and munched the lot. It's so much easier from the supermarket.

    • lol much easier for sure, for more rewarding this way. If you can beat the snails to the loot.
