Galaxy Gear as a Gift, Which Version Is Best Deal?

I don’t know Galaxy Gear. I know Apple Watch. Reviews say galaxy gear is just as good. Need one as a gift, which version and where’s the best price? Samsung feel the need to put ten different names on what looks like the exact same product.

      Oh wait, it only works properly with Samsung phones? That won’t be suitable. I guess android wear is different to galaxy gear. What’s the android wear equivalent to galaxy gear classic?

        I'd check out the Huawei Watch 2 (There's also a classic version).

        That's an old video, as of sometime this year the galaxy gear s3 is compatible with all Android version 4+. Works perfectly with my huawei including samsung pay.
        Not sure about apple compatibility, but you can call samsung and ask.

    aesthetically the silver classic looks better, especially with a custom band
