It is in my employment contract that I am to find the best deals for my beloved colleagues.

Sometimes it pays off….(near) free Soccer Ball.

Sometimes it coss the company a day of productivity….$153 Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

I'm adhering to my strict workday rotation:

Sign on to work computer.

Open emails and broswer window.

While consuming remainder of morning coffee, check Facebook, LinkedIn, OzBargain and Gmail.

Commence working for 1 hr.

Check FB, LI, OZB.

Continue working for 15 minutes.

Repeat step 5 and 6 until lunchtime.

Consume lunch.

Repeat step 5 and 6 until 5:30pm.

Sign off work computer and leave.

    Not saying all of them do this, but I legitimately have friends in government whose routine doesn't involve any work until after lunch. And then they go home at 4pm. (And it's not that out of the ordinary either, because their routine up until lunch includes chatting with supervisors and managers……..)

      I have worked in the WA public service and seen all this first hand.
      
      I was so disgusted I left, to see how public monies are being squandered whilst the public servants want more money or better conditions is frightening.

Sitting in my AirBNB (playing on the free internet) in the south of France waiting for breakfast downstairs to start. Then pack the car, drive to Foix (via Albi for lunch) to our next AirBNB/Gite for a week while we explore the area. Retirement is fun!
