Has anyone here bought an Eames Replica chair? Could you please give me a short (or verbose if you have the time) review on your model, where you bought it and what it cost? I am considering buying two and don't want to blow that much money on a shonky.

I know the original is a 10k chair, thats why I am canvassing reviews of different models from peeps that bought replicas on a site where people are know for their frugal ways and high expectations.
sorry to revive an old topic, but I have been in the market for this kind of chair for sometime now… seens the Matt Blatt's replica is the best out there? Is the A$1.5k price tag worth it?
Have you actually sat in one OP? They definitely do not suit all body shapes /sizes.
No I have not, I read the reviews and they did say tall people wont like them, one of us is tall. I am now on a mission to find one to try. They do support 150kg and have a wide seat, so I cant see big people having issues.

Mine's pretty unique, i bought a dodgy replica from some lady who had ruined and scratched all the vinyl. So i ripped it off and reupholstered the whole thing myself in a kinda of Prince of Wales check fabric. It looks choice!
Sounds amazing, they look far too low for a computer chair, we are looking for Netflix and popcorn chairs. I am also looking for suggestions for a good pc chair too, something that is NOT the bathurst racing chair.
