    Sweet, thanks HJ!

  • Infiniti splender packets at Starbucks (just make sure you dont take too many at a time)

    • Splenda = artificial sweetener

  • I signed up but it told me to 'Manage my Preferences' to receive a free sample, so I did, (had my address inputted correctly) confirmed it and nothing… Did I do it right?

    • There should be a confirmation screen like this telling you your profile was updated. If you saw that screen, you should receive the sample.

  • Thank you for sharing Sweetie.

  • I hope this sweetener taste like sugar.

I REALLY want it to replace sugar, and all the fake crap around. But it simply doesn’t.
I’ve tried many stevia products, and find some are too obvious.

      • If you want to try weaning yourself off slowly maybe try "Smart" Sugar (CSR blend). Half the calories, white sugar blend with Stevia. Is a bit on the sweet side so you should only use half as much as usual too.

I got 2x 500gram bags of Whole Earth brand. Supermarket was flogging it at 50% off, by memory.

Tried it in my coffee… such a weird tainted flavour. Says it “bakes & browns like sugar”. Maybe best for hiding in cooking. But I generally replace a lot of sugar with sweet fruit or honey etc.

        • @YogaPants: Not tried that one as yet. I am still fussy and like straight sugar in my coffee or tea, but I don't mind a little Smart sugar on porridge. Doesn't taste tainted to me but too sweet like fine caster sugar. Have no plans to use anything but normal sugar in coffee or tea so will try to just cut down.

Usually like 2 to 3 pieces of fruit a day but a dietician told me that was too much due to a lot of hidden sugar in fruit. Can't win!

Put on some weight when taking nerve pain tablets for about 2 years. When I stopped taking them though (after 3 ops) initially lost 10 kg but want to lose a few more. Never dieted before so a challenge for me. Exercise is difficult as am tolerating pains, but don't wish to return the nerve pain meds … and weight gain again.

        • @YogaPants:
Ps. CSR also sell an unrefined "coconut sugar." That may be a better alternative for cooking.
