For all the Xiaomi fans here is the Aqara Cube for $10.30 shipped from Rosegal (should be the cheapest ever).
It's a pretty clever device to control your Xiaomi gadgets.
Be aware that you need the Xiaomi gateway that this is working.

Shipping insurance, need to untick the box
Got one, but man that site is terrible.
Couldn't sign up using email/password (kept on getting 'maximum email length 50 characters', even when it was well under that) and then during checkout it displayed a random API response on screen and I had to click the 'back' button to continue.
I hope their actual order fulfillment is better than that, but we'll see.
Heads up to anyone wanting to use these with Home Assistant - this is currently not possible. The nuts and bolts is that they use a different data format to the original xiaomi cube and other xiaomi devices so their status changes aren't visible to the HA device. It's expected that it will eventually be possible, but it's at the mercy of the xiaomi gateway firmware.
Thanks for this. I hadn't realised that there was two versions and nearly jumped on this deal. Is there an easy way to tell when shopping online which version is which?
Aqara and Xiaomi are two different companies so it makes sense.
so would the xiaomi cube work better with HA?
@pinkybrain: Yes. The funny part is that Aqara also made the original Xiaomi cube.
@pinkybrain: I've got a few of the xiaomi cubes running fine with hass. I've mainly got aqara switches and sensors because I prefer the square shape.
Damn. I bought it for exactly this.
Well, I'd been waiting for a reason to try out https://github.com/danielwelch/hassio-zigbee2mqtt
I recently bought the xiaomi 5 in one kit, I've set them up. But not sure how to get it to work with my Google home assistant. Could you please help me
I just hope one day my yeelights and this cube and google home can all work in harmony :(
Home Assistant makes that happen, my cube can control both yeelights and Hue Lights. Could really control kodi as well but that would be annoying

This Aqara cube is not compatible with Home Assistant. The identical looking and functioning Mi cube is fully compatible with Home Assistant.
Source: I bought an Aqara cube :/
Guessing it set up like the vaccum and air filter
