I'm tempted to buy this and I don't even own a Playstation 3!

    • +7

buy it as a gift for someone else! … i have a PS3 cough cough

  • btw - just wondering would this be an Australian Version? ie. some thing i can trade in in the future.

    • Yes, I bought some stuff from them recently and it's all Australian versions (and sealed too :D).

      • hmm the game i got was actually an overseas copy however it had the australian rating sticker over it. can anyone confirm this will be aussie (i.e have the region code 4 on the back?)

        • At this price it's highly unlikely it will be Australian stock.

    • doesnt matter if its aussie, ps3 games are region free

      • +2

Does matter… DLC issues and future trade complications

But if you just wanna play and enjoy, it fine straight out of the box.

        • mmm this is my issue, Little Big planet always has heaps of DLC so if its an Asian version our DLC wont work with it.

        • All PAL works perfectly. DLC is identical. I've ordered tonnes of stuff and the DLC works fine.

EB (usually) accepts PAL copies too. I've seen UK versions all the time.

        • At strand, not all PAL is te same. The only one I can think of off the top o my head is Uncharted 2 where AU DLC will not work with a UK Disc. I can't not comment on wether this is the case with LBP2. However this is off topic as this is AU PAL :)

  • sweet, free express postage :)

  • Went to buy and found I was already signed up with them and had a $10 credit.
    Thanks for the deal.

    • Me too! Cost $38.95 delivered by eParcel. Their PayPal is not working though.

    • Where can i find the $10 credit?

      • I have no idea why I have the $10.00 credit. I did buy the Avatar Blu Ray deal from them a while back.

Edit: Actually maybe it was from this deal and I never used the credit at the time:
        http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/38122
        That deal is expired now.

  • woo i still have a $10 credit with these guys!!!

  • I went out on an impulse buy on this one, its got good review so fingers crossed :P

    • Another good review here. You will have fun :)

  • seems like a pricing error. standard lbp2 is 84.95 so i suspect they switched the first 2 digits.

    • I've paid with paypal but i think i've been priced wrong.

I have a $10 credit on my account but when i paid with paypal it sent the full amount, not the amount minus the $10 credit i have.

      Can you help me out?

      • +2

        PAYPAL ISSUE:

When you first submit your order, PayPal will store a payment authorization (usually rounded up to the nearest dollar) that is likely to be listed as 'Original Order' on your account. No funds have been transferred at this point; this is simply a reference advising that you have an order pending. When your order is processed, only the difference - after removing the credit amount - is deducted from your PayPal account.

        Hope this makes sence ")

@Twisty Thanks for the support ")

As you're the OP for this deal could you possibly add this link into your description so people seeing this aren’t disappointed/confused seeing the keyring deal has sold out:

      Hope this is ok :D

      Thanks again ")

  • man.. their address fields are so crap. I cant put my building name, level i'm on. The only place that i can think of putting those info is in the Unit/street # field, but that has a 12 character limit. System fail…

    • +4

@Ironman01 Thanks for the feedback :)
i'll pass this on to the IT/Design dept to have looked at.

      **Gamesplus.com.au **

      • It doesn't seem to recognise my suburb… o.O I've tried suburb and my postcode.

  • I'm not even sure my name will be on the address - yes their system is fail.

Price is good though - espec with the $10 credit. Oh well I needed some reason to buy this game…

  • is downlaod content limited to teh game, or the region of the console ???

as i had the GTA 4 US and AU versions when all the uncut crap came in, and i never had trouble with the US copy, and also servers when searching always came up with the AU servers, the content I thougth was to do with teh region your user account was assigned to?

but of course, i've never tested this 100%, but from my experience overseas games haven't had any trouble with DLC.

  • dlc depends on the region of the game

  • Gamesplus, Bought as gift as GF loves the little guy. Hope you deliver with key ring given it is early days purchase and not a scam with only a few to be distributed.

  • It's sold out =(… the keyring that is. The game isn't.

  • I wanted the keyring for my wife, she loves that kind of crap and told me to buy this just for the keyring…..glad I do the finances around here.

  • How long is delivery time to Melbourne?

    • @Unco usually around 2-4 days depending on AusPost “)

      ** Gamesplus.com.au **

  • Seems to have been listed as 'discontinued' on their website.

    • +1

Unfortunately we have sold out of the keyrings and as we are not the OP we can’t change the description of the post but we still have the game for $48.95 :D

Little Big Planet 2 (game only)

      • Hey GamesPlus, bought it for GF birthday gift and at that time it still have the bonus keyring listed. so can I assume that my GF will get the bonus Keyring and hence you updated later link above sold without the keyring. If I am not getting the keyring then can you cancel my order#9104403 as I'd rather buy her a different pack with the sackboy soft toy limited edition instead of just the game only as would not have bought otherwise. Cheers.

        • I think its safe to say you are getting the keyring if you bought it from the first link (which you did).

The new link is for game only.

  • edit.. nvm

  • +1

Well this is pretty great. I was interested in this game but not full-price interested. EB's $67 was pretty tempting, Jables' $64 even moreso, but at $49 I think I'll bite. And it turns out I have a $10 credit at the site. Why? Beats the hell out of me, but I'm not complaining.

  • Just got an email from dstore. $49.95 (plus delivery) http://dstore.com/buy/littlebigplanet-2-ps3-12359199

  • Why is this game already heavily discounted when it received great reviews?

    • Insane price. Something tells me Sony is driving some sort of incentive to retailers considering the cheaper prices and deals going around with this game.

    • The price of the game entices people to look and maybe buy something else from their store that they have a higher margin on. It is called marketing.

      • That doesn't explain why it's only this game. Most other big selling games like LBP 2 are still around the $80+ mark at Australian retailers.

    • +2

Your talking about the abuse that ozbargainers threw down this companies throat by abusing the deal. This is a good price for this game.

    • +2

I have never had any problems with this company and been buying from them for many moons

      • This is a GREAT deal!! Also bought a few things from this site & never had an issue got my $10 credit & free speedy delivery wrote them an email had a reply within an hr. my 1st purchase was Assassins Creed BroHood + free shirt FTW! Now have ordered this!! BOOM! ")

    • +1

Did you create multiple accounts for the same address?

  • +2

I just ordered my copy. Disappointed that I didn't make it in time for the keyring, but I don't think it will drop to this price for a very long time. Zavvi pretty much have it for $66 including delivery and dstore is $57 including delivery. Great price, thanks!

This is also the Australian version, so DLC, shouldn't be a problem. If you're concerned about getting a game from the UK and not sure if DLC will work, just head to the PSN store and see if there is a BLES code that is required for your game.

  • +1

Man, literally just bought it from Game today for $64, which I thought was a good price already.

    • Which Game store did u buy it from? I tried with them and they said they cant match jb and their reason was its way under cost…

    • NVM

  • +1

Mine arrive today - can confirm sealed Australian version and the keyring is groovy. Came via AAE, really quick. Top notch deal.

    • These guys are going all out. How are they making any money on this?

  • I also got mine today. Sealed and very fast delivery! Australian version as promised. Very happy, thank you!!

  • @sparkles @justmiike Thanks for the feedback guys ")
