Godfreys have a bagless for $49 at the moment, don't remember the original price but it's over 50% off, and IIRC, it's pretty decent.
Kmart had some good specials on bagless cheapies a while ago, don't know if they've still got stock. I recall seeing a Homemaker branded Piranha knockoff with bonus dustbuster vac for $50 about 2 wks ago in Glendale NSW.
