      Note that this is a standard price. Have you had a look at the other components? This is a top of the line laptop targeted to gamers. With that comes a hefty price tag. Looking at the model below with the same specs, but lower cpu is $500 cheaper. You can also get it on eBay for 10% less. Still ludicrous, but for those ppl that have cash to burn and want portability and high end gaming it’s decent.
      FHD on a 17 inch screen is appropriate. Use an external monitor if you’re serious about screen resolution/real estate..
      Also this is a g-sync IPS panel. Perfect for gaming.
