That's a very high chair, and probably isn't rated fat arse.

2 step ladder is about a chair. 1.2m is about a chair on top of a chair, but safer. I would only get this if I was only going to use it for low ceiling work in doors.

I have one this size but it's fibreglass. Picked up of gumtree and it's a damn good height ladder. When your putting stuff up on a shelve or anything like that you can put one foot on one side and one on the other like your straddling it and you get more stability that way. I use mine all the time. And it's so easy to carry around inside the house and such. If mine for whatever reason disappears or breaks I will be replacing it with one the exact same size. Make sure the top is also a platform as 8t sometime gives you that little bit extra height…
Might buy two for a platform I'm needing.
Is it suitable to reach 2.5m ceiling? eg.) for patching, painting etc.

You can, but i wouldn't.
Doing all that for a sustained period and you'll want something to lean on, especially as you'll get constantly disoriented as you look up and that's not normally a good thing when on a ladder.
BTW saw some Rhino 0.9m 120kg similar to this for $25.00 - looks like they're clearing them.
