Recently got fixed wireless. I've called iPrimus to get my login details for my router so I can use my Linksys wrt1900acv2 instead of their crappy Huawei HG659 router they send pre loaded.
I've been informed by tech support that I can only use their provided router plugged in to the NTD and will have to bridge my Linksys to it.
Is this correct? If so that's a bit crap.

Did you have to configure login details or did it just work when you plugged it in the the WAN port?
I just plugged it in and it configured all the settings itself and the router had its own login details. No contact with the ISP was required at all.
ipoe no need login details
pppoe need login details
also check vlan tagging required by some isp
Yep it's true
I have the same router. Remove the Huawei gear and take note of which port its connected to on the NTU. Connect the wan port on your Linksys to the same NTU port. I think from memory you might need to configure the Linksys in bridge mode.
I'm with Iinet and I just disconnected the crappy one they sent and plugged my Nighthawk in and away I went….Surely they cant be that big of jerks to make you use their junk.
