Hi All
I'm looking for a good pair of bluetooth earphones for phone calls and music.
Im generally on the phone a lot for work teleconferences (often 3-4 hours a day) so most importantly want something that has a good, clear mic (preferably with mic noise cancellation) and good battery life. I'd also use it for listening to music at the gym and on the train …
I've had a few before - MPOW wolverine (I think they were called, which was very good but uncomfortable - bought it years ago from an ozb deal) and Meizu EP51 (which in my opinion was a huge let down).
Ive heard good recomendations on jaybird X3 which I will check out, but any other ones I should look at? I'd like a decent pair that'll last me - and in my experience, cheaper earphones ($30 and under) don't quite cut it in in terms of quality - although happy to be proved wrong if you have a good recommendation ..
Thank u!
airpods are actually very good for calls. i find speaking on headphones or in-ears where outside noise is blocked kinda uncomfortable, while open earphones are more comfortable. personal preference here of course. it helps when out in public though, being able to tell the volume of your own voice
battery life is good, and each side can be used alone to extend total talk time. voice quality is also good. i regularly talk while on bike rides, and the other person often doesnt realise unless i tell them because voice is very clear. this generally also extends to using the phone in kinda noisy environments, with my voice coming through quite well.
music quality is also decent, but being open is less good for listening in loud places
main problem is theyre apple, but one of the better apple things
