How to Do ING Transactions with Instant Settlement?

Hi,

I have a friend who has just got the ING Orange Everyday account and they want to meet the requirements in this month (June) to be eligible for the bonuses in July.

They've already made FOUR payments that have settled. But they are worried that payments they made yesterday won't settle before the end of the calendar month.

Are there any options/ideas/things they could buy that would settle instantly and thus make sure they meet the requirements for June?

(I also know how to do it for next time, 5 x 1c etc, more just wondering about options for now).

  Insert the card and use PIN..

    yeah, eftpos purchase is instant. credit will take a day or two. do a 5c split payment on something at woolies or coles

    The important step is selecting Savings, not whether you insert your card. You can still do a Credit transaction by inserting your card.

  Did they also remember to deposit $1000 in the account?

    And remember to do this using npp/osko/fast payments as well, otherwise it won't be processed until July

        Under $1000, the transaction is instant.
