Thoughts on this phone?
I've been holding out for a decent deal on the LG G6 at close to $400. But after being screwed by eGlobal, I suspect this phone is now routeinly being sold as brand new but actually refurbished.
Anyway I digress.
Nokia 7 Plus appears to be getting good reviews, but not a lot of youtube reviews with high numbers, nor a lot of forum discussion.
Any reason I shouldnt buy one via @Joybuy for $375?
I dont understand. What do you mean by reflashing?
Reinstalling the OS. It comes with the Chinese/English version, without Play Store. You can install Play Store but you will be running it on an Android that may have random Chinese characters all over and potential Chinese spyware. In other words you should not be using it like that if you are a sane person, it is a broken phone.
Plenty of success stories flashing to WW firmware for both 4 and 6Gb versions.
Both in the threads here and on Whirlpool.

I like mine, I paid $551 for it from JB. I like it, but I came from a Samsung Note2.
I am yet to play with the NFC, camera isn't the greatest.
It came with the clear rubbery case, which I did not like I paid some Sydney Amazon store $8 for a nicer case, and screen protector with is at best so,so. due to the shape of the screen screen protectors seem to be hard to find.
I would check out the Nokia subreddit, there is also a nokia7plus subreddit.
How do you rate the Camera? I really like the phone.
Currently I am using a Nexus 6P. The only reason I still keep this phone is the camera. Camera is a dealbreaker for me. So I would appreciate if you could give some feedback about the Camera bit more. What areas are strong/weak…etc.
I did not buy from Joybuy, because they don't seem to know a way of reflashing it, basically that's why they sell it cheap. I read the xda forum and it does not look straightforward or even free to reflash it.
