Not having to go to a BUPA covered hospital? These guys used to be great, but they've gone steadily bad over the past 3-4 years.

These guys are literally the AAMI of health insurance….I would stay away.
Is AAMI that bad? I’m with them - anyone else you can recommend??
Yeah they have been shocking anytime I made a claim with them, I would suggest GIO or NRMA as I’ve been with both and have been much better. They might be more costly but generally it’s worth the extra cash.
Been with BUPA for the past few years. Always been good. What others would you recommend?
Been with bupa for last five years. Closed it today.. Don't know whether it is good or bad, but when I needed (only once last year) it didn't save much. Took it only to save Medicare levy,I don't need it anymore as combined family income is below threshold. Don't see value for money anymore. Decided to save the money and use public hospitals if needed.

BUPA pulling out the big deals to increase numbers before EOFY. remember they’ve changed what and how they pay out - and you are encouraged to use their recommended hospitals and doctors.
Make sure you read up on it before signing up with this mob.
