Looking to buy a TV for under $1000. Screen size around 40-50

  TCL released a Roku TV in the states (of course it's probably not selling here) that reviewed really well- https://www.cnet.com/products/tcl-55p607/review/

  I don't know what model in Australia (if any) corresponds to that model but that would be the model that I would be looking for (and will be looking for probably in the not too distant future as my 10 year old Hisense is starting to show signs of its age, touch wood I can get a few more years out of him).

  There seems to be a couple of different P series models here?

  This is another one that reviewed well, but again I don't know what model it corresponds to as I didn't think that there was an R series - https://www.techradar.com/reviews/tcl-6-series-r615-r617

  Happy TV shopping, if you end up getting something I'd be interested to know what you think if you end up with a TCL.

    Thanks for this. Will definitely let you know if I end up with TCL. Just reading through some comments on it, seems like screen bleeding is a big issue.

  FHD is 1080 by the way. I'm sure you could get a UHD 4k TV in that price range.
