Delonghi oil fin Heaters

Looking to get a new heater and Delonghi has so many variants..

What are the differences between these models:

Dragon4 Oil column Heater with Timer TRD4 2400ET - Dragon4 Oil column Heater with Timer TRD4 2400MT - Radia S Digital Oil Column Heater 2400W TRRS1224E.G

and

Radia S Oil Column Heater 2400W TRRS 1224T

They are all 2400W with 11 to 12 fins and thermostat but what I want to know is what makes the first one cost $360 and the last one cost only $150 ?

Do they all have similar hearing capacity? I don't care about other functions as long as there is a thermostat.

Oil column heaters are crap no matter what you pay for them.

I'm not sure how, but for a device that uses so much power it'll trip your breakers it sure doesn't put out much heat. And the little heat it does produce takes a real long time to show up.

Why are these wastes of space still made?

Are they the same people that buy twin-tub washing machines?

I take it you weren't born in 1892 then. Or think you were. These: https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/haier-6kg-twin-tub-washer-xpb…

The way they work is you put your clothes in the left-hand tub and wash them. When that finishes you take your (very wet) clothes out and put them in the right-hand tub to spin them. Y'know, like normal top-loading washers do in one go.

Thought they'd stopped making them 30 years ago until I saw one in someones house. WTF? Then I found out it was new! WTF! Samsung even! "Oh these wash better blah blah…" Gah.

    • If your only choice is electric heating, what do you get?

The radiant bar heaters (the glowy orange things) work fine for most areas.

        • Thanks, will look in to it.

  • Actually, I got the Delonghi 11 fin oil heather 2 months ago, and must say it's mighty fine for the amount of heat it pushes out. Got a good deal off HM.

  • I have a delongi dishwasher that just broke down after 2.5 years, the service said don't buy delongi.
