Hey, this isn't free! OP is bamboozling us

    I have one in red.
The fabric is thin but quite light weight. The zips are a bit flimsy.
I used it as an extra day pack when travelling, and it was fine for that low-load duty.
A kid took it to school and it didn't last very long.

Might be good for some purposes, but wouldn't go near something like this for anything like actual hiking.

  • Got a black one, cheers. Worth a try for $15 :).

Dont event touch, i bought one and it is rubbish. Unstitched from holding spots. i am just sharing my experience, it is totally rubbish.

  • theres heaps of really good bags on aliexpress now. id suggest browse there

urgently in need of a new backpack (for work/travel), but might pass based on the comments above.

Anyone know of anything deals on more decent ones? eg. aliexpress maybe like someone else said above? Ebay?

    • This week's Aldi sale has hiking packs (35L and 50L I believe). Mate has one of their last lot, it's fantastic. Something like $50 or so.

I wouldn't cheap out on a bag much more than that if you really want to use it a decent amount. Ergonomics is a thing.

  • I did a lot of research a few months back on packs on Aliexpress. The free-knight ones always lacked features and in close ups looked to be cheap and nasty. I got a 30l and a 60L pack (other brands). Paid $26 for one and $55 for the other. They were okay. The links are dead for those products now so I cant share them.

40L is pretty small for a camping backpack. For overnight you really want an adjustable length in the torso too. Anything with that will have decent straps. Anaconda have their own brands on 40-50% off much of the time. The good thing is you can try one on. You may get one under $100 however you can try it before you buy it. You might save AU$25 buying from Ali, but you might waste AU$75 for your effort. Anaconda's site is down for maintenance right now so I cant link. But if it is for camping, you will want 60-80L and the adjustable torso length. They all come with cool pouches and zippered bits once you get to this range.

    • Not a bad guess, they have a denali one on half price right now. 60L proper pack and from memory it has an adjustable torso length. Straps are all quite acceptable. Down to $94.

They some smaller ones on sale too. Actually all Denali packs are half price. A safer option I think. https://au-catalogues.com/anaconda-catalogue-2776-744-6
