Yeah, totally agree.
I picked one up from the last 20% off sale and it just doesn't feel as nice.
Although this one is totally functional, I always grab the black one that came with the console.
If it's just for your mates or kids to use, then no problem.

Probably, but I actually prefer the positioning of the D-pad for the DS4 controller. The actual D-pad was better on the XBox One controller, but the position was not good for fighting games.
Fighting games aside, most games use the thumb stick to control, and the D-pad as regular buttons, so the asymmetrical design works better. But to each their own.

still a good deal! just a word of warning with this model: cosmetically its consistent with the latest version however the build just isnt up to the x one x stardard. buttons are a little hollow, triggers lighter and bumpers a little soft.
