Gooddrop and Nicks are online store whereas VC has b&m stores nationwide so you'll save $10 from delivery
I.e. glenmorangie $63.19 at VC. Thewhiskylist shows cheapest is $63+10 from liquorspecials.com.au (no physical store).
Can't comment for the lagavulin comment above. $1 difference between VC and 1st Choice (which are both Coles group anyway)

Nope … but you can always do a price match with with a bricks and mortar store.
My point is that you can buy all of the whisky's on sale at the VC sale price any day of the week, if you spend 30 seconds on google.
Are there any deals? eg Laphroaig 10YO was $75 during the aldi world whisky day sale … I'd call that a deal.

Price match at Dan's and combine with 5% off wish cards … gets you to $57 … Inflation's a bitch. Just have to drink some extra samples at Dan's to make up for it.
