Basically got a pixel 2xl about a month ago. Only yesterday I started to realise I have this rattle noise in the speakers at higher volumes. Did a bit of research and noted this to be a common issue with some of the pixel 2 XL batches.
Now it's not entirely a big inconvenience or issue but it shouldn't happen on a $1000+ phone.
I was wondering if I should RMA this and wait the 2-6week period turn around that jbhifi stated or wait this out until a couple months after the pixel 3 is out and hope to get a refund which I can put towards that.

I googled your query and it directed me to this forum post.
Hey mate contact google direct from this link https://support.google.com/pixelphone#contact=1&topic=707825…
I contacted them and bought mine from JBHIFI I had a battery issue and they RMA'd it and it took less than 2 weeks before I had a replacement.
If you bought it directly from Google they have (in the past) and might send you the replacement pixel and tell you to ship the old one back when you receive the new one (because they know you need a phone). It is worth getting an RMA, take advantage of your rights, don't just let things go. As for waiting for the Pixel 3 and getting a refund, I doubt that will happen.
Rma after 23 months for a refurb
You cant go to google direct? I think their turnaround is much quicker.
