If you have an Adblocker, I'd recommend turning it off as it comes up with that error on Myer. Definitely not OOS for me

Yes, all sorts will cease to be produced.
It's a matter of retaining value for the years to come.
This is an Ideas set, so normally a limited release. As it was such a well received set, it seems they have kept production going for a bit longer but I would guess by end of year or earlier it will be retired.
When do we get a Falcon 9 or Falcon Heavy version?

Buy the lepin version for a 10th of the price.
If only Lepin came anywhere near the quality of actual LEGO. I bought the Ghostbusters HQ a while back. Parts missing, damaged (even melted) parts and many parts were warped so that the roof wouldn't stay on properly. Others didn't have the right tension to actually stay where they should be (I'm looking at you, GB sign).
As always, you get what you pay for. It's just a shame that real LEGO is so crazily expensive.

Why all the rave about this model?
I learnt from building 10030 imperial star destroyer that some lego is boring as buggery to build, because all the parts are repetitive. Not many sets actually suffer this problem, but it looks like the Saturn V would be one. No?
All I can tell you is that I had a really fun time building mine. About four hours with some beers and netflix in the background. The model makes a beautiful display piece as well.
Agreed. I have mine upright on the sideboard (next to my Mathmos rocket lava lamp).
Definitely not boring building it. The Taj Mahal; THAT was boring and repetitive.
Definitely one of the nicer lego sets to display/build.

same. I happened to choose C&C and came to pick it up today. I mentioned the price drop to the staff and she refund me the difference with no problem. Even at the time she was checking and showing out of stock.
Yep I did the same, picked it up today having purchased at $149 - asked if they can refund the difference, staff checked then came back and did it even though there was no stock. Because I'd be returning mine in full, which means 1 stock left, then purchasing it at the new price immediately! :P (Myer seem to have a good returns policy?)
