I am visiting the MCG for the first time at the end of the year (Saturday, October 6, 2018) for the WWE main event.
Just want some suggestions to which the best seats in the stands to get. Was considering Level 1 towards the middle, but am now looking towards Level 2 seats.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Looking to spend under $400.

I too would have thought ringside would be best, if can be afforded.

The answer to OP's question is in that plan. They have indicated (by category, and likely by associated prices) which areas are best. Depends on OP's budget.
Somewhere in there (maybe Cat4-Cat5 and beyond) you will probably be getting a better view via the screens anyway, but still be 'experiencing' the event.
I think you need to tell us your budget before we can suggest spots to sit. Level 2 is usually pretty good for AFL and Cricket (better than the other levels) so use that as a indicator.

I would recommend Category 4 then for $305.85. I'm assuming it's just yourself so that is the highest category unless you blow your budget. I would recommend somewhere around N47, if you get to choose (I believe you can choose individual bays if you buy tickets in person, but considering the Telstra Presale is online only, you won't be able to). yeah but I would only spend that money when I eventually go off to Wrestlemania from which I will get the pass for all the shows in the week.

Hell - the MCG is huge. You may as well try and sit closer to the TV screens in the stand than try to see something happening 75 metres away.
Is buying category 8 ticket worth it if I plan to travel from Sydney and I'm a broke student with the dream of seeing the Undertaker wrestle?
It will definitely be worth…. the crowd is going to go insane as soon as Taker's bell rings and the lightning echoes around the stadium….

Just purchased ring side… well 8 rows back and to the side… $1400, Telstra presale.. but with a unique seating setup like this who knows how good the seats will be… but for the money, i am hoping for something amazing! :)
I watched the Saudi Arabia show they did last month.. and it was like a Wrestlemania… great entrances and lots of fireworks.. so I think the MCG show will be the same…. It being televised means it will be heaps better than the regular lame shows they bring each year…

Also got ringside with Telstra presale behind announce table row 7 pretty close considering the first 5 rows are VIP reserved, tickets are $2700 row 2-5 no meet & greet but merchandise package & $3600 front row include meet & greet plus package. However do U know we get to keep our chair!!!! How cool is that, all ringside ticket holders will get to take home these awesome chairs. They are like the ones at Mania ringside if U want to see what they will look like. Can't wait!
