Here is the three put together and Sony didnt change a whole lot through the years, You can shoot photos on the a6000 just as good as the a6500 and its under half the price.

Been using the a6300 for almost a year now and its been a reliable workhorse. The firmware updates addressed the "overheating" issues, with an added option to silence the warning (which was set at a very conservative temperature), I've shot in 4k for the better parts of an hour with no issue
Who else has the a6000 and is wondering if this this a worthy upgrade?
It's only really an upgrade if you want to shoot video in 4K, outside of that there isn't a lot of reason to upgrade it.
The Sony promotion has not expired yet, it is still 15% off.
Might as well for the Sony A6500.
