I always give a fake date that is close to my real date so if I win I can just say it was a mistake
Good idea, if you're born before 12th day of a month you could always mix up the day/month too e.g. 02/07 instead of 07/02.
It's a great prize, but I hate when there is an insistence on having your birthdate as part of the entry requirements. It just feels too risky to hand over so much information … and if you make a date up (to make the form happy) then perhaps proof of identity could be required for prize collection and you could be refused the prize. I really don't want to spend time checking who will have access to my info especially when there is a statement saying we will be marketed to.
