    Wow at that price you are looking at $0.60 per gram of tumeric.

    At Woolies you can buy 140g for only $4.89 making it $0.03 per gram.

    For $120 I can get ~10 dish with tumeric in it (Tandoori, Butter chicken, Masala, Korma, Gobi sabji, etc)at the local indian take away.

    or better still chuck a teaspoon of tumeric powder in with your rice.

    I can get 500g of tumeric at the local asian grocery store ~$6. slightly cheaper then the 180g here for $120.
    and you're onyl giving ~1/4tsp per tablet. is there any scientific proof (not internet speculation) that this has any health benefits at that level?

    I use a pepper mill and half a teaspoon of powdered turmeric in a coffee mug and drink it every night. Way cheaper than these capsules.

        some data supporting curcumin usually found at 2-8% concentrations in turmeric having anti-inflammatory effects, but most of these papers were written by a researcher who has since withdrawn most of them.
        best case scenario you'd get a mild anti-inflammatory (panadol) effect and get and keep your "natural" cred
