Basically used to sieve out water. Bonus points also for a funnel and delivery. Bigger one is better..Will be using for large pastas and noodles and washing potatoes and all sorts.
For some reason strainer and colander is finding me nothing.

I like the 'bigger' stainless steel ones - available from Coles/Woolies…
Mum xIKEA will get you reasonable quality. Anything from Kmart will be shit
If you wait you can get the GEMAK and IDEALISK at Ikea cheaper at Aldi when they have a special buy. I have all of them and they serve a different purpose.
I also have the Woolworths Inspire colander and it's fantastic for washing beans, rice, etc. before using. Wash in the bowl part and pour out the water in the strainer. I liked it so much I had to buy a spare (sorry taken).
Only use would be for washing some vegetables and straining noodles and pasta.
